About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes using SAP
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage the credit function, including risk assessment, approvals, and credit limits
- Oversee accounts receivable processes, billing, and cash application
- Monitor aging reports and drive collections to reduce DSO
- Supervise and mentor accounting and AR staff
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP and accounting workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP (specifically FI/CO and AR modules)
- Proven experience managing credit, collections, and accounts receivable
- Deep understanding of GAAP
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
- Advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English
