Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across all entities
• Review and approve journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany allocations
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
• Oversee customer invoicing, collections, vendor master hygiene, and multi-currency payment runs
• Manage payroll accounting, including statutory deductions and reconciliations
• Design, document, and enforce internal controls across O2C, P2P, and R2R cycles
• Lead statutory and group audits end-to-end, managing auditor relationships and evidence packages
• Partner with FP&A on variance explanations and management reporting
• Mentor finance executives and drive process automation in NetSuite

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in GL, AR, AP, and payroll
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting
• Startup or high-growth company experience
• Strong knowledge of India statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Companies Act, Ind AS) and US GAAP
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience designing and operating internal controls
• Flexibility to work across US, UK, and APAC time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to non-India local GAAP (PH, CN, AM, UK, US)
• Tier 1 city audit-firm articleship
• Experience with US parent or multi-entity environments
• Proficiency with tools like Zip, Blackline, Jira, or Zoho Books
• Knowledge of transfer-pricing concepts
