Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and expense management
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial statements
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards
• Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies
• Implement and optimize accounting systems, tools, and workflows
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate financial data
• Monitor key financial metrics and analyze variances
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior public accounting or Big Four experience
• Experience in a high-growth startup or venture-backed company
• Experience in B2B SaaS and/or AI industry
• Experience supporting audits, investor reporting, or fundraising diligence
• Experience with international or multinational environments
