Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close and reporting process to ensure an accurate and timely close
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on process improvement, scalability, and automation
• Assist in the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting policies
• Support the year-end financial audit and work directly with external auditors
• Partner cross-functionally to support special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and financial analysis requests
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen accounting infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience managing or supporting month-end close processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting tools
• Exposure to audit processes and working with external auditors

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or in progress
• Mix of public accounting and high-growth startup experience
• NetSuite experience
• Experience building accounting processes, controls, or automation
• Fintech or high-growth industry experience
