Accounting Manager - Payroll & AP

Responsibilities

• Oversee and process semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
• Audit timecards, hours, and pay data to ensure accurate gross-to-net calculations
• Manage 403(b), FSA, HSA, garnishments, and other pre/post-tax deductions
• Serve as the primary ADP system administrator for earnings codes and pay rules
• Monitor the full cycle accounts payable process from purchase order to payment
• Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate payment term discounts
• Assist in monthly financial statement reviews and year-end audit procedures
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to accounting staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related subject
• 5 years of accounting or payroll processing experience
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Strong project management and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of supervisory experience
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
• Experience with payroll software implementation and digital integration
