Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory accounting across the device lifecycle including procurement, RMAs, and 3PL transfers
• Manage accounting for contract assets, prepaids, and operating expenses
• Lead automation of inventory movements within NetSuite and design integrations with Salesforce and 3PL platforms
• Identify and implement AI tools to automate recurring accounting processes
• Build operational SOPs for trials, RMAs, transfers, and write-offs
• Establish financial close processes for inventory reporting and monthly reconciliations
• Lead and mentor one direct report in San Diego

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification required
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• ~4 years in Big 4 public accounting and 1+ years in industry
• Hands-on experience with ERP integrations, preferably NetSuite and Salesforce
• Proven track record of deploying AI or automation tooling
• Strong understanding of inventory and operational accounting (3PL and RMA flows)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hardware or device-based businesses
