Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise month-end close tasks, including general ledger entries and variance analytics
• Review and oversee period close submissions and assist in financial reporting package consolidation
• Complete balance sheet schedules for monthly and quarterly financial statement reviews
• Provide accounting guidance to regional and divisional teams to ensure timely documentation and resolution of issues
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
• Interface with internal and external auditors
• Manage the central accounting team to ensure alignment with company policies and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred; MBA is a plus)
• 7-10 years of comparable work experience
• Experience in a corporate office of a global, publicly traded company
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably Oracle
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and GAAP
• Proven ability to develop and coach accounting teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
