Responsibilities

• Oversee full range of general accounting duties for Wholesale Generation, including AR/AP, payroll, and period close
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Manage external audit processes and production of annual audit financial statement reports
• Coordinate with corporate teams on financial consolidation and K-SOX compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for executive leadership
• Oversee tax compliance, including federal, state, and local filings
• Establish internal controls for treasury activities and manage cash flow optimization
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Provide key financial analysis to support strategic business decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of Accounting and Finance management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• Required experience in the retail electric industry
• Working knowledge of the ERCOT energy market
• Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of GAAP (IFRS is a plus)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP S/4HANA (Workday and Concur preferred)
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
• Eligibility to work in the USA without sponsorship
