Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate reporting
• Maintain all balance sheet accounts, including documentation, classification, and reconciliation
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including daily billing and invoicing
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Partner with operations teams to analyze business performance, KPIs, and cost drivers
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to improve efficiency and profitability
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and assist with system implementations

Requirements

• 5 years of progressive accounting experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Ability to work onsite in Knoxville, TN (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
