Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reserves, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform detailed general ledger account analysis and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Manage preparation of workpapers for annual audits and serve as external auditor contact
• Develop and maintain scalable, well-documented SOPs
• Take end-to-end responsibility for General Ledger functions
• Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting software (ERP, expense management, and automated reconciliation tools)
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• 2–3 years in a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm
• 1–2 years of experience supervising staff or leading projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency with advanced ERP systems like NetSuite
• Proficiency in automation tools (Alteryx, AI) and advanced Excel (VBA, Power Query)
• Experience with BI tools such as Snowflake, Looker, or Power BI
