Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reserves, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage General Ledger functions and perform detailed account analysis to resolve discrepancies
• Drive the development and maintenance of scalable, well-documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting software and automated reconciliation tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial results with business drivers
• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff to foster professional growth and a collaborative environment

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
• 2–3 years of experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier public accounting firm
• 1–2 years of experience supervising staff or leading projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Mastery of ERP systems, specifically NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Query
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Snowflake, Looker, or Power BI
