Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct financial activities and safeguard hotel assets
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure GAAP compliance
• Monitor departmental expenditures and implement labor management strategies
• Oversee scheduling for all accounting staff
• Prepare and file tax documentation including sales tax returns
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review problem accounts
• Assist in recruitment and training for finance and management roles
• Participate in asset inventories to verify property accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Three years of experience in Hotel Finance and Accounting
• Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Proficiency in Opera, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to stand or walk for minimum eight-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or MBA certification
