Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive accountability and ownership across global close processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy
• Drive adoption of AI and automation across close areas, including AI-assisted reconciliations and automated accrual workflows
• Mentor and manage accounting staff, leading coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Identify and implement process improvements, standard templates, and control points to increase automation
• Review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analysis for accruals
• Support M&A activity including consolidation of acquired entities and integration into accounting infrastructure
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Technical Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and AP
• Support SOX compliance over the financial statement close cycle
• Play an active role in ERP transformation to SAP S/4HANA

Requirements

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• 3+ years of industry experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience preferred
• Proven track record driving automation and AI adoption in accounting operations
• Experience managing and coaching accounting staff
