Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret customer agreements to provide US GAAP conclusions
• Oversee the full production order lifecycle, ensuring work orders and WIP balances reflect manufacturing activity
• Analyze production process variances and quantity discrepancies to support cost efficiency
• Serve as subject matter expert on ASC 606 and relevant GAAP guidance
• Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses
• Translate accounting assessments into actionable processes for billing and collections
• Act as primary point of contact for external auditors
• Drive initiatives to enhance internal controls and automate revenue accounting functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA license required
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or production
• Deep expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606
• Solid understanding of WIP accounting and production cost analysis
• Experience managing ERP/MRP systems
• Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience
• Experience with Acumatica or Sage Intacct
• Experience in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in data visualization tools
• Track record of implementing automated revenue recognition modules within an ERP
