Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entry reviews for fixed assets, leases, and accruals
• Prepare and review fluctuation analyses, account reconciliations, and reporting schedules for internal and external use
• Evaluate the effectiveness of controls over spreadsheets and improve Information Prepared by Entity (IPE) documentation
• Standardize processes with Shared Services and integrate new subsidiaries into existing workflows
• Ensure timely reporting of financial statements and provide full interpretation of financial results
• Optimize month-end close processes through automation and improved accuracy
• Partner with various departments to analyze financial results and support strategic business initiatives
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with documentation standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in an onsite office environment in Brentwood, TN

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or CPA Candidate status
• Experience working in a complex, large-scale, or publicly traded company environment
• Proficiency with fixed assets, leases, and ERP systems
• Proven ability to adapt to change and identify process improvements
