Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial statements
• Maintain financial records and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Design and implement accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies
• Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and tools
• Support budgeting and forecasting through accurate financial data and variance analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners
• Support investor reporting and fundraising diligence

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or equivalent certification
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with accounting and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
• Ability to navigate ambiguity with a builder's mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior public accounting or Big Four experience
• Experience at a high-growth or venture-backed startup
• Experience with QuickBooks to NetSuite or other ERP migrations
• Experience supporting audits, investor reporting, or fundraising diligence
