Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple hotel and restaurant entities in accordance with GAAP and USALI/USAR standards
• Manage corporate liquidity, treasury functions, and develop 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts
• Drive the annual budgeting process and perform monthly variance analysis to identify root causes of discrepancies in food and labor costs
• Act as a strategic partner to General Managers and Chefs by translating financial data into actionable operational insights
• Oversee internal controls for cash handling, tip pooling, and revenue reconciliation
• Manage tax and regulatory compliance, including sales, occupancy, and property taxes
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and manage all supporting documentation

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in accountancy
• 3+ years of experience preparing management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
• 5+ years of experience supervising staff
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel (data modeling)
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Margin Edge, and SpotOn
• Ability to analyze complex financial information and produce detailed reports
• Bilingual in Korean and English is a strong plus
