Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide owners and management with accurate and timely financial data
• Manage all phases of Accounts Payable, Receivable, and department budgets
• Prepare financial statements, regular reports, and summaries of accounting activities
• Oversee the night audit team to ensure proper revenue reporting
• Review ledger details, guest ledgers, and deposit ledgers to validate revenue posting
• Forecast cash payments and manage cash flow to ensure effective business operations
• Manage the accounting team through coaching, training, and performance management
• Maintain systems of policies and procedures to ensure adequate financial controls
• Monitor property inventories to maintain proper levels without impacting cash flow

Requirements

• 5 to 6 years of demonstrated accounting experience, preferably in hospitality
• CA (Chartered Accountant), Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or Graduate in Accounting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS)
• Experience with accounting software and Point of Sale (POS) systems
