Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a short-term accounting cleanup effort, prioritizing and executing high-impact fixes quickly
• Review and strengthen reconciliations, account support, and close-related deliverables
• Identify gaps in documentation and controls, then implement practical improvements
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify ownership, timelines, and dependencies
• Support and operate effectively in a SOX-aware control environment to ensure workpapers and approvals are audit-ready

Requirements

• Accounting Manager-level experience in industry or public accounting
• Prior experience in construction accounting strongly preferred
• Comfort working in SOX control environments including controls, documentation, and approvals
• Strong operational accounting skills such as reconciliations and close support
• Ability to work onsite in Portland, OR and work with minimal supervision
