Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily accounting operations
• Drive the month-end close processes including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement compilation
• Develop and mentor a diverse accounting team, driving performance and professional growth
• Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Implement best practices and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
• Present financial information to executive management, providing insights and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate and facilitate external and internal audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ability to work on-site in Marlborough, MA Monday through Friday
• Strong knowledge of multi-ledger & multi-divisional accounting including intercompany accounting
• Experience with multi-currency and international transactions
• Experience supervising accounting staff
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience in financial reporting, journal entries, and fixed assets management
• Minimum of five years in a service-oriented business
