Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger and monthly/quarterly/annual close processes
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
• Oversee AP, fixed assets, inventory, and other core operational accounting processes
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements
• Manage intercompany revenue, billing, and statutory audits of foreign subsidiaries
• Optimize the close calendar to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Manage bank transactions and serve as a backup for payroll processing
• Assist in the implementation of accounting tools and process improvements using AI tools
• Support integrations of key systems such as expense reimbursement, banking, and HRIS
• Provide support for annual and interim financial audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, accounting preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth environments
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Exceptional Excel and analytical skills
• Effective communicator with strong project management skills
• Experience working with offshore teams or in international environments

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience with IFRS
• Working knowledge of NetSuite
• Experience in SaaS, equipment leasing, or manufacturing
• Direct experience contributing to a 5-day close process
