Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end accounts payable process across all directly-managed entities including vendor onboarding and payment runs
• Lead general accounting operations including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closes
• Manage and develop a team of three consisting of an AP Accountant, General Accountant, and Intern
• Partner with the Accounting & Tax Director on accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvements
• Lead Finance × IT initiatives such as AP automation tools and ERP improvements
• Support statutory audits and tax filings by preparing required schedules and documentation
• Act as a business partner to Operations, Procurement, Retail, and HQ teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team in an international, multi-entity environment
• Strong technical command of French GAAP; US GAAP or IFRS exposure is a plus
• Expertise in AP and general accounting including full close cycles and intercompany bookings
• Proven experience leading process and system improvements like ERP rollouts or automation
• Fluent English; French is a strong asset
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, or consumer goods is a strong plus
