Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes ensuring NCECF compliance
• Oversee bank, general ledger, petty cash, and inventory reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify trends and risks
• Deliver financial analysis and variance explanations to executive leadership
• Coach, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate governance
• Coordinate external audit activities and serve as the primary finance contact
• Implement process improvements and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Supervisory or people management experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or NCECF
• Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting cycles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Maximo, or Dayforce)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA designation
• Manufacturing industry experience
