Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities, including posting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with statutory and tax accounting activities, including local compliance reporting, external submissions, and withholding tax filing
• Support payroll close and reconciliation activities
• Assist with the coordination of SOX and other compliance matters
• Support and implement initiatives for automation, process improvement, and digital transformation within the accounting function

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business
• Minimum CGPA of 3.40
• Proactive working attitude with strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a multinational corporation (MNC) environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, or CPA
