Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting services to LG Chem subsidiaries in the Americas
• Perform accounting tasks under team leader guidance, including journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
• Support revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, and fixed asset management
• Assist with the preparation of income and balance sheet statements, lease accounts, and fixed asset expenditures
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Generate internal and external reports for HQ and the North American regional office
• Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Completed undergraduate degree (BS or BA)
• Strong interest in pursuing a professional accounting career
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) onsite in Atlanta, GA

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic background or coursework in Accounting
