Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• Support journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end/quarter-end close
• Prepare supporting schedules, workpapers, and audit/PBC deliverables under US GAAP
• Assist with budget vs. actual, cost-category analysis, and ad-hoc financial requests
• Use AI tools to automate data cleaning, transaction categorization, reconciliation, and reporting workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA track a plus
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, debits/credits, close cycle, and financial statements
• Comfortable working in financial systems/ERP software and large transaction datasets
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-moving finance team

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfort with AI tools and interest in automating manual accounting workflows
• Interest in FP&A, treasury, and public-company reporting
• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus
