Accounting Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing invoices, expense claims, and supplier payments
• Support accounts receivable activities including customer invoicing and payment reconciliation
• Help maintain the general ledger by posting journals and performing bank reconciliations
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities and variance analysis
• Support the preparation of financial reports and management packs
• Assist with VAT, tax, statutory reporting, and audit documentation
• Participate in process improvement projects and documentation of procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting queries

Requirements

• Currently studying for a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
• Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to complete at least 300 hours of internship
• Ability to work in Quirino, Malate, Manila
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Navision, or Xero
