Accounting Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including a Manager and Senior Accountants
• Own corporate accounting operations and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle
• Manage accounting for approximately 12 subsidiaries, including intercompany eliminations and multi-currency translations
• Drive continuous improvement and implement AI-driven automation using Claude
• Ensure general ledger integrity and maintain internal controls (SOX compliance) in NetSuite
• Oversee complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and stock-based compensation
• Lead the consolidation process across domestic and international subsidiaries
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and IT

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA highly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in both pre-IPO high-growth and public company environments
• Experience managing multiple legal entities and multi-currency consolidations
• Strong command of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Ramp preferred
• Experience with Claude Cowork and/or Code strongly preferred
