Accounting Customer Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage fiduciary accounting duties related to brokerage and delegated authority business
• Maintain consistent operations of the Premium Accounting department
• Initiate improvements to accounting policies, controls, and procedures
• Lead functions in resolving issues and maintaining high customer service standards
• Provide guidance on underwriting and insurance accounting to brokerage and processing departments
• Supervise conversions and bridge testing for new acquisitions and accounting transitions
• Manage and review department system automation endeavors
• Support and train Accounting Team Supervisors
• Review and mitigate advance or write-off requests to reduce financial exposure
• Collaborate with front-office producers and back-office directors for situational resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 6+ years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• 3 years of experience in a management capacity
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience with insurance policy review and loss-sensitive programs
• Experience with accounting systems such as AIM, ImageRight, CARL, or Concept One
