Accounting Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist with the end-to-end accounting cycle for Global Media, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for Media Owned and Operated businesses.
• Support monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established deadlines.
• Provide timely close variance explanations to the Finance team.
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, US GAAP standards, and internal control requirements.
• Collect and validate financial data to support management reporting and analysis.
• Coordinate with Finance and business partners to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with audit requests by providing accurate schedules and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within accounting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2-3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to work onsite in Inglewood, CA, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
