About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with the end-to-end accounting cycle for Global Media, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for Media Owned and Operated businesses.
- Support monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established deadlines.
- Provide timely close variance explanations to the Finance team.
- Maintain compliance with accounting policies, US GAAP standards, and internal control requirements.
- Collect and validate financial data to support management reporting and analysis.
- Coordinate with Finance and business partners to resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Assist with audit requests by providing accurate schedules and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within accounting operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2-3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Ability to work onsite in Inglewood, CA, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
