About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform accounts payable duties including vendor payments and invoice analysis
- Collaborate with departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Ensure business transactions are accurately reflected in the General Ledger
- Maintain accounting systems and data integrity using SAP and E-Accounting
- Oversee fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting records
- Reconcile accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries
- Monitor accounts receivable and long-term outstanding items
- Provide financial reports and findings to management
- Conduct quarterly accounting audits and support external auditors
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of business, management, and accounting principles
- Proficiency in mathematics and clerical procedures
- Strong critical thinking and active listening skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or economics
- Previous relevant accounting experience
- Experience within the manufacturing industry
