Accounting Controllership - Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage International and Western Europe country accounts, liaising with CFOs and Accountants to ensure smooth monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
• Perform monthly reporting on accounts, budgets, forecasting, expense analysis, and intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure all country accounting books are closed in compliance with Local GAAP and US GAAP
• Reconcile country accounts with the General Ledger within group timelines and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain lease accounting for International, Europe, Great Britain, and North America regions as per accounting standards 842
• Support the team in day-to-day account management and ensure data integrity
• Monitor compliance guidelines and apply controls to optimize processes and meet team metrics

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA (Master's in Business Administration)
• 3-7 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working with Oracle General Ledger systems
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Blackline Reconciliation System and Business Object Tool
• Previous experience managing end-to-end accounting processes
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment
