Accounting Co-op Student

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform financial analysis and ensure data integrity.
• Drive financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and forecasting.
• Provide financial input to various projects and business cases.
• Develop a deep understanding of source systems and business processes through continuous learning.
• Work closely with peers, managers, and the senior finance team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Commerce or Business Administration studies, specializing in Accounting or Finance.
• Pursuing a CPA designation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to balance work, school, and life commitments while producing quality work on time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of one or more previous co-op terms or summer internships.
• Experience with community involvement or team engagement.
• Bilingualism in English and French.
• Basic experience using AI tools and technologies to improve productivity.
