About the role
Responsibilities
- Process daily hotel banking and make deposits into appropriate accounts
- Carry out a complete daily income audit of the hotel's daily revenue
- Resolve and correct any revenue variances in a timely manner
- Process accounts payable items, including invoice processing, coding, and requesting approvals
- Review Front Office guest ledgers and Sales ledgers to perform accounts receivable functions
- Respond to guest queries and credit card inquiries or chargebacks promptly
- Assist with the implementation and development of accounting systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- 1-2 years of hotel finance experience
- Proven bookkeeping or similarly related experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of issues and solve problems effectively
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a unique company culture
