Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities

• Entering and validating data in accounting systems (ERP, Excel)
• Processing Accounts Payable invoices and ensuring correct job project coding
• Posting cash receipts and managing Accounts Receivable
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations
• Drafting journal entries, including accruals and adjustments
• Assisting in tax remittances and monthly reconciliation reporting
• Maintaining organized records for audits and regulatory reviews
• Tracking and allocating costs between JV partners

Requirements

• Post-secondary Business Administration or Accounting Diploma
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingualism is an asset
• Indigenous descent (preference given)
