Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide timely preparation of Business unit backlog and volume-price-mix analysis
• Prepare monthly Selling spending reports and assist in gathering quarterly forecast information from cost center owners
• Assist in updating monthly Financial and Gross Profit schedules for the EBU
• Support all annual financial planning activities
• Perform various reporting and analysis tasks as required by management
• Collect, review, code, and process financial information and manage data in spreadsheets and databases
• Provide audit support as needed

Requirements

• Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience
• Previous experience supporting finance or accounting functions
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• High attention to detail
