Accounting and Transformation Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting activities to ensure accurate financial recording in compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee key controllership processes, including journal entries, general ledger, AR, AP, fixed assets, and revenue reconciliation.
• Manage and coach a team of four direct reports, providing performance evaluations and professional development.
• Drive the integration of acquired accounting operations into standardized systems and processes.
• Serve as a key stakeholder in system implementations, integrations, and process transformation initiatives.
• Design and implement improved accounting processes, controls, and procedures to support scalable operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Leverage technology and automation to improve accounting workflows and scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of related accounting experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Proven experience in the accounting integration of acquired entities.
• Strong accounting foundation with the ability to solve problems using sound judgment in dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated ability to balance core accounting duties with process improvement or transformation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle.
• Experience in finance transformation, automation, or digital initiatives.
• Exposure to operational accounting, such as inventory or business operations processes.
