About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate all work in the Accounting unit to ensure timely and accurate financial reports
  • Coordinate unit work, administrative supervision, and quality improvement programs
  • Monitor procurement, maintenance, and inventory of tools and goods for the Accounting section
  • Analyze and create financial reports, including budget versus actual reports
  • Monitor hospital asset activities including receiving, disbursing, and destroying assets
  • Supervise stock taking and analyze stock differences in warehouses
  • Prepare data and reports for financial transactions and audit processes
  • Provide guidance and professional development for staff
  • Implement and supervise quality and safety service procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations applicable to healthcare organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
