Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze, control, and monitor accounting activities, including data entry and verification in operational systems.
• Conduct account reconciliations and track progress against budgets within established finance systems.
• Report budget variances to senior colleagues and contribute to the preparation of data and analytics reports.
• Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods, and formats.
• Organize and prepare complex documents and summarize data for special reports using Microsoft Office.
• Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers regarding complex processes and policies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to others regarding data management systems and internal procedures.

Requirements

• High School / FE College education.
• Proven experience as a practitioner able to work effectively without supervision.
• Basic experience in coordinating the work of others.
• Strong numerical and mathematical proficiency for report analysis and mathematical operations.
• Advanced data management skills, including acquiring, organizing, and protecting data.
• Proficiency in using standard office equipment and software packages.
• Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
