Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Register accounting entries including income, expenses, journal, and bank transactions
• Perform accounting reconciliations and review balance sheet accounts
• Support monthly and annual accounting closing processes
• Review, capture, and issue invoices in compliance with tax requirements (CFDI)
• Manage and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist in the preparation of preliminary financial statements and tax informative declarations
• Maintain updated accounting files and supporting documentation
• Support internal and external audits as required
• Prepare and submit reports for government entities such as INEGI and RNIE

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (titulado)
• 1 to 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational companies or Big4 firms
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Accounting Standards (NIF); IFRS knowledge is a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, basic functions)
• Experience using Aspel; experience with other ERP systems is a plus
• Solid knowledge of tax matters including ISR, IVA, DIOT, and annual declarations for legal entities
