Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for the month-end accounting close
• Perform monthly balance sheet General Ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules and Accounts Receivable reporting
• Assist with Fixed Asset, CIP, and Lease reporting and management
• Prepare audit schedules and financial information for Corporate Tax and Risk Department requests
• Manage the accounting for Prepaid Expenses
• Conduct financial analysis of variances to Plan and Forecast
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
• Review SAP transactions for coding consistency and recommend corrective measures
• Participate in cross-functional project teams to support business initiatives and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis)
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Fluency in Spanish
