Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Complete monthly accounting tasks in accordance with US GAAP guidelines
• Perform annual reviews and revisions of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) to improve internal control effectiveness
• Provide financial insight and analysis to business partners regarding financial results
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analysis and reporting
• Engage in the design and implementation of process changes and special projects
• Review Corporate Segment purchase obligations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of Internal Controls, audit compliance, and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Expertise in financial analysis and operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to design queries and reports using financial systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• Experience working with large-scale ERP systems
