Accounting Analyst (A/P)

Responsibilities

• Manage A/P-related journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for year-end close
• Develop understanding of flight ticketing and accounting lifecycle, including intercompany operations
• Prepare monthly A/P aging and assess collectability and credit quality
• Review and verify invoice accuracy and validate A/P transactions
• Partner with Land & Travel Operations to optimize processes
• Monitor payment hub dashboards and resolve vendor queries
• Conduct variance analysis for AP accounts against budget and prior periods
• Serve as functional owner for AP flows in NetSuite and spearhead automation
• Execute monthly reconciliations between operational systems and NetSuite ERP
• Act as main contact for external audits on AP-related topics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 4-5 years of experience in Accounts payable, General accounting and billing
• Knowledge of national and international taxes, intercompany transactions and payroll
• Advanced Excel and Office package skills
• Fluency in English (B2 minimum) and Spanish
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of Spanish Accounting Principles (PGC)
• Big4 experience is a plus
