Accounting Administrator

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of invoices and maintain detailed accounting records for disbursements, expense vouchers, accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable
• Enter financial data into ERP and payroll computer systems
• Reconcile records with internal management, external vendors, and customers
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and questionable financial information
• Manage Accounts Receivable tasks including customer account setup, billing, collections, and remittance application
• Execute Accounts Payable processes including 3-way matching, vendor payments, and resolving purchase order discrepancies
• Administer Payroll functions by collecting and entering data, updating employee records, and processing government requirements and year-end adjustments

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1+ years of related experience and training
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer administration systems
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Collections, Accounts Payable, or Payroll
