Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review staff journal entries and monthly G/L account reconciliations
• Resolve third-party seller invoice discrepancies by communicating with Account Managers
• Perform 3-way invoice matching and processing
• Complete month-end close duties, including recording and variance analysis
• Manage various function-based accounting activities such as revenue deferrals and accruals
• Analyze balances to ensure accuracy and communicate unreconciled items to management
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements and support special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of accounting or finance experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interest in utilizing AI tools for efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the eCommerce or Consumer Product Goods (CPG) industry
