Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain and supervise financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including consolidated reports.
• Oversee all statutory compliances, including Direct & Indirect Tax, Company Law, and Labor Law regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
• Ensure timely and accurate finalization of corporate balance sheets and financial statements.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits to meet regulatory standards.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
• Monitor financial transactions, ledger maintenance, and assist in budget preparation.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of real-time accounting experience specifically within Dubai.
• Expertise in Direct & Indirect Tax regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Company Law and Labor Law.
• Proficiency in MIS reporting.
• Proven experience in corporate balance sheet finalization.
• Strong initiative and ability to drive strategic financial initiatives.
