Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record business transactions related to Lease Accounting
• Manage period-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare and assist in the review of recurring reporting packages and financial statements
• Monitor and analyze business transactions in accordance with IFRS and Volvo Group Financial Policies
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance
• Maintain daily contact with clients within assigned areas of responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Commerce
• 1 to 3 years of experience in IFRS16 Lease Accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Experience with BI tools and SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience using source systems such as Blackline or Nakisa
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform data validation and interpretation
• Willingness to work in various shifts and extra hours during the close cycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience working within a shared services environment
