Accountant

Responsibilities

• Record business transactions related to sales, general accounting, and journal requirements
• Manage period-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Reconcile various balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare and review recurring reporting packages and financial statements
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance
• Monitor and analyze business transactions according to financial policies and procedures
• Maintain SAP Master data for FI/CO modules
• Collaborate with Volvo Group partners and maintain daily contact with clients

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance
• 2-4 years of experience in general accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, and FA modules
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong analytical skills and ability to validate and interpret data
• Ability to work in shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Blackline or other feeder/sub-systems
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience working within a shared services environment
