Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP Master data maintenance for FI/CO
• Oversee Fixed Asset cycles, including investment management, Capex budget initiation, capitalization, and retirements
• Handle asset transfers, scrap/sales, and Forex gain/loss calculations
• Perform fixed asset reconciliation and monthly reporting
• Maintain records of business transactions related to the General Ledger
• Prepare financial reports and monitor transactions according to IFRS and Volvo Group policies
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Coordinate with Volvo Group partners and maintain daily contact with clients within assigned areas

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce
• 3-5 years of experience in Fixed Asset accounting, reconciliation, and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and business transaction monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with GL, AP, AR, and FA modules
• Previous exposure to SAP
