About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end close duties ensuring adherence to internal deadlines and accounting standards
- Complete activities associated with tax filings
- Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense report processes
- Assist in training team members
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly accrual-based financial statements and support schedules
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in responding to year-end external audit inquiries
- Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards
- Provide assistance with establishing credit limits for business partners
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in operational accounting and accounting services (AR, AP, etc.)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Active CPA license
- Experience with complex ERP systems
